Welcome Aboard
Your hosting is ordered and you are wondering what happens now. This guide walks through the first day: what arrives, where to log in, and what is worth doing before anything else.
What arrives by email
- An order confirmation, with what you bought and what it costs.
- Your account details, once the service is set up.
- An invoice, which you can also see and pay in your portal at any time.
If something has not arrived, check your spam folder before worrying — and if it is genuinely missing, open a ticket and we will resend it.
You have two logins. Here is what each one does.
Almost every question we get in the first week comes down to this, so it is worth ten seconds now:
- Your customer portal — money and admin. Invoices, payment methods, domains, support tickets, your profile.
- Your control panel — the website itself. Files, email accounts, databases, SSL, WordPress, staging sites.

Day one checklist
- Log in to your portal and check your contact details are right. This is where renewal reminders and anything urgent will go.
- Point your domain at us, if you registered it somewhere else. Your domain needs to know where the site lives.
- Get your site online — install WordPress in a click, or upload your existing files.
- Turn on SSL so your site loads over https. The certificate is free and renews itself, but it does need switching on once.
- Set up your email addresses if you want mail on your own domain.
Moving an existing site to us?
Do not start uploading. We move it for you, free — open a ticket, tell us where the site lives now, and we will do the work. You do not need to touch anything until it is already here.
