Our hosting journey began in 2009 under the name Been-Fishing.net, providing affordable hosting with personal, hands-on support.
In 2016, the business was rebranded as Go Red Robot. The new identity reflected how the company had evolved beyond straightforward hosting into server management, security, automation and bespoke technical solutions.
Today, Go Red Robot Hosting supports individuals, businesses, designers, agencies and resellers across the United Kingdom and South Africa. The technology has changed considerably since 2009, but the principle behind the business has not: reliable infrastructure means very little without knowledgeable people standing behind it.
Some customers know exactly what they need. Others simply have a website, application or business idea and need someone to recommend the right way to run it.
We work with both.
Our role is to understand what you are trying to achieve, recommend an appropriate solution and manage the technical details that should not become your problem. That might mean straightforward shared hosting, an optimised WordPress environment, a reseller platform or a completely bespoke managed server.
When a standard package is the right answer, we will say so. When something needs to be adapted or built differently, we are comfortable doing that too.
Support comes from people who understand the systems they manage. No outsourced call centres, scripted replies or endless ticket ping-pong.
We recommend what fits the customer—not simply the most expensive option. If a smaller package will do the job properly, that is what we will suggest.
